NEW month, NEW Unit-GREAT week!

Hi Everyone! Welcome back from a long weekend of thankfulness! I am just so thankful to be up and moving around again. I was sad to miss you all the two days prior to break, I had a fever and was quite ill for several days. Thanks to Mrs. Durling for taking care of things at school.
We're starting a new unit this week. Here is the information! (Plus the bonus words for spelling for those who want a challenge are: electricity, unique, and contraption.)

Review Week!

I love going out into the hall and seeing all of the beautiful art your children make. It certainly makes me smile. We just had a great day learning about Marc Chagall with Mrs. Fisher and I will post those pictures next week (since I can't get them to download this evening!)
We have our Tanner Dance program this coming Thursday at 2:30 in the gym. It is just our three classes, so it will not be very long. We are asking the children to wear comfortable dark pants (or leggings) and they will have a bright yellow shirt to put on at school.
We are reviewing the last 5 weeks in Reading Street this week (mixed review spelling.) Our test on money is this Wednesday. Thanks for all you do!

Great SEP's!

I loved having the chance to visit with you all at SEP's! Your children are making such good progress and a lot of fun to be with every day. I am putting our new language arts curriculum on the site, but don't forget to identify and count some coins.
