Meet Miss Jocelyn Cox

We would like to welcome Miss Cox as a student intern into our classroom. She will be observing and interacting with our students on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon. It is extra fun for me because I was her first grade teacher! She is a senior at Brighton and very excited to be with us.
Yea! Finally we get our regular spelling words!! As you can tell we are working on adding "ing" or "ed" to words so we double the last consonant.

No Spelling Test Tommorow! (but it is library day...)

Due to the quantity of short weeks-we did not get new words last week and we are working on Sitton spelling this week-a good review. So no worries tonight! Don't forget your library books!

It has been a strange spring week! Warm and snowy weather made for creative play at recess (see Eli's snow pyramid!) Another short week means quick spelling again. Here we go-

Can you tell we will be doing some seasonal writing next week?
