Spring is around the corner...
We have had a lovely week in second grade! On Wednesday we had snow showers, then on Friday it seemed like April! The students have been excited to get some exercise and sunshine to help them concentrate in class. We have made SO much progress in double-digit math and are very proud of our students!! Next week we start geometry…

More Second Grade Fun!
We celebrated the 100th day of school last week, so we decided that our students should have 100 year old teachers. (It was harder for Miss Mellor to look old!) We had a great day.
This week we will celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday as well as doing our usual routine. It will be busy and fun as well. Here is our new reading outline…

Fabulous February!
We have so many fun things going on! Mrs. Beckstrand started teaching us music on Thursday afternoons. She is an amazing music teacher and we are fortunate she is willing to share her talents with us! We had a "Meet the Masters" assembly and will be doing a really fun art project later this month with our great art volunteers headed up by Mrs. Fisher. It is Groundhog Day tomorrow and we will celebrate the 100th day of school on Monday.
Here is the outline for our studies this week:
